Program Description
The International Pofessionalism program creates an understanding of what professional interaction is in a Western Multinational Company, and why it is the expected behaviour. The participants learn how Assertiveness, Accountability and Team Accountability work in an International environment. International Pofessionalism is a program included in our Passport to International Excellence series - P.I.E
The P.I.E program series has 4 modules designed specifically for international companies operating in China and for local companies operating in the international market. The P.I.E program series provides sustainable and measurable improvements of employees as well as organizational performance.
Key results:
Companies use The International Pofessionalism program to raise their employees awareness of expected behaviour required to succeed in an international company.
- Participants will acquire new skills and confidence to work in an International workplace.
- Improve the participants’ ability to be appropriately Assertive by;
- Identifying assertive behaviours
- Understanding how to remove wrong assumptions
- Understanding the tools for how to clarify
- Understanding the importance of asking appropriate questions, giving opinions, summarizing, etc.
- Improve the participants ability to be Accountable by;
- Differentiating Accountability on a Personal, Team and Company level
- Identifying Chinese values conflicting with Western Accountability and understanding how to overcome them
- Learning the true meaning of “Doing the right thing” and “Doing things right”
- Adopt the correct professional attitude for work - being professional internationally; thinking as an owner and take responsibility for results.

Workshop Methodology
The training program is designed to be highly interactive, with many opportunities for contributions and involvement from participants. Participants will incorporate real life work situations into the training program as well as practice and experience from Videos, Role-Plays, Brainstorming, Skills practice, Writing tasks, Case studies, Intergroup exchange, Guided teaching, Games and Presentation Sessions.
