Based on in depth interviews with 111 leaders of Western Multinationals with a total of 500 years China experience, this report highlight some big misconceptions of managing in China today. The report shows the biggest cultural challenges Western expatriates are facing and provides detailed explanation how successful managers over come these. The report gives deep insight on how to stimulate Chinese employees to become professional and intercultural team players delivering sustainable results within Western organizations.
This research study has been conducted with the intention to give deeper understanding of the challenges Western managers face in building successful cross cultural teams in China.
